Our preconstruction services include: •Conceptual estimating to evaluate the viability of projects and establish reliable budgets •Detailed construction estimates to provide accurate cost information of a designed project •Cost savings input to assist clients in reaching their budget goals •Development of a Guaranteed Maximum Price •Constructability analysis of building systems and components to provide the best value for an efficient project (takes into account the appropriate balance of initial costs, performance, operating costs and project goals) •Solicitation of proposals from specialty contractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing •Sequencing and scheduling of projects from conception to occupancy to capitalize on efficiencies that save cost and expedite delivery

The Preconstruction Director’s responsibilities include the following: Development of conceptual estimates, preliminary budgets and lump sum bids; Leadership and coordination of bid proposals; Manage design team through the development of permit documents; Identify and analyze value engineering ideas; Relationship development with prospective clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors; Seek and identify potential prospects; Assist and also sometimes lead in the pursuit of prospects; Update and maintain subcontractor and design consultant data bases.
