Ted is responsible for the development and management of REXTAR’s IT infrastructure and technology strategies and for the overall management of the business. Over the course of his career, Ted has founded several technology companies and developed their IT infrastructure. He has created and managed web and eCommerce applications for a number of high-profile organizations and individuals, among them Comcast, CBS, the MSG Network, the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, the Women’s Tennis Association, the Williams sisters and David Bowie. During the period 1994-2001, he was a founding partner, CTO and CEO of ACS Sports, which produced television and web content and sold advertising and sponsorships for the sports and entertainment industries. Ted has invented novel technologies, including a cryptographic protocol for online transactions and a closed cycle heat engine for direct conversion of radiant to electrical energy. He is the author of several books on topics ranging from Physics, Mathematics and Cognitive Science to Social Policy and Economics. His independent research in Physics has been published in the proceedings of SPIE, the prestigious international organization for photonics and optical engineering, where he was regularly invited to speak at professional conferences.
