I am a BioMolecular Engineering graduate working at Molson Coors with multiple experiences in hands-on, team based lab and engineering work. I am a part of the Milwaukee brewery's quality team where I collect microbiological data to track the breweries overall hygiene. I also am an advanced MCTS taster and participate in weekly sensory panels to ensure high quality beer. Skills in microbiology, data analysis, polymerase chain reaction, and sensory analysis.My entire life, biology has been what I was most curious in. Learning about the life that covers the planet has always been a fascination to me. Once I took a biology class in middle school, I knew that I wanted to pursue it as a career. Then in high school, I took a Project Lead the Way class and feel in love with the complex problem solving and teamwork associated with engineering. That's when I started looking for bioengineering programs and found MSOE's BioMolecular program. Now at Molson Coors I apply the engineering and lab skills learned from my degree to my everyday operations.At Molson, I have been able to participate in projects that work toward bettering the brewery's hygiene. These include working with a packaging line to improve their swab scores through analysis of the CILs, primary and final filter micro tracking to find areas of high micro loading so that they can be targeted for maintenance or CIP, and wort oxygenation tracking to ensure optimal yeast growth in the fermenter. Through my project experience as well as my work on the leadership board for the Society for Biological Engineers, member of the men's volleyball team, and working as a student tutor for math, chemistry, physics, and BioMoleular Engineering courses, I've developed strong time-management, communication, leadership, and team-work skills.
