As a first-generation immigrant, I’ve served as an attorney, advocate, and philanthropic advisor to promote welcoming and just policies in the US. My work has primarily focused on empowering local communities to improve their quality of life. As an advocate, I helped expand economic opportunities for communities of color and increased their access to public services and programs. Most recently, I oversaw the US Program at Unbound Philanthropy, which developed from a start-up foundation to a leading US immigration funder, with an emphasis on leadership development, policy advocacy, and civic participation.
