Though my frame of reference stretches back to my days in the Air Force working on some of the earliest iterations of the Internet—later with some of the first database management systems and Unix platforms—my expertise has continued to evolve, including the latest MS Windows, Exchange, and SQL servers, cross-platform operating systems, EDI systems for data integrity, Visual Basic for applications—and even Retail Anywhere and Celerant POS systems, as well as other proprietary platforms for the Retail, Construction, and Apparel industries. I have never been afraid of hard work; on more than one occasion working 24+-hours straight and installing new systems overnight (10 separate times)—to ensure 100% uptime and fail-safe throughput. It is fulfilling to be part of the impact technology has on business—and most importantly—on people; with greater data visibility and articulation comes targeted governance; with digital transformation comes organization-wide automation.
