Manager of Quality Assurance. Responsible for quality of networks, email and applications at 120 stores as well as the corporate headquarters. Ensured retail store servers and applications were deployed quickly. Worked with implementation teams who developed systems and processes to implement systems quickly and inexpensively. These systems provided Borders with a low cost, but high effective IT infrastructure, enabling booksellers and customers to quickly find books. It also enabled the store systems to create faster transactions for checkout and for reserving books.

Developed a new Help Desk infrastructure by working with upper management and Help Desk staff. Implemented Microsoft Mail Server on a Novell and Windows network platform.
