Mr. Tu is also the Independent Director of Mercuries & Associates Holding, LTD., the Independent Director of SCI Pharmatech Inc, and the Director of Coretronic Corporation. He received his MBA degree at University of Houston , Texas ,USA.

Mr.Ted Tu is the President and founder of LAFALife Tech Inc. LAFALife Tech was formed by a group of professionals with diverse experiences in bioscience, medical devices and investment July, 2009. LAFALifeTech intend to leverage its networking and expertise to establish alliance between Greater China US and Europe through novel product commercialization. Mr.Tu is currently also on the boards of Chunghwa Pictures Tubes,LTD., Sitronix Technology Inc. and Optoma Technology Inc..

Ted was the chairman of TaiMed Biologics Inc. which was formed by TaiMed Inc., a biotechnology venture creation, investment and management company. With founding support from private investors and Taiwan government, the company has licensed from Genentech a drug candidate to conduct phase 2b clinical trial in U.S and Taiwan.

Te-Cheng Tu was the President and a member of the managing board of President International Development Corporation, the investment holdings company of Uni-President Group since 2000. Prior to joint President International Development Corporation, he was Vice President of Department of Investment and Development for Uni-President Enterprises Corporation from 1986 to 1999. Mr. Tu was Chairman of A-Spine Asia Co. Ltd., President Investment and Consulting Corp. and Ice Art Corp. . He used to serve as board members of Accuray Inc. U.S.A, U-Systems Inc., Aurora Image Inc. and ScinoPharm Taiwan Ltd. In additional to his experiences in healthcare industry in States and Taiwan, Ted was the board member of 7-Eleven President Chain Store Corp. which is the largest convenience store chain in Taiwan.
