Conducted a merger of equals between Madera Design and Natural Selections Inc. Natural Selections manufactured wood furniture, and batik lampshades at facilities in Tucson, AZ. As Vice President, improved processes in the company financial activities with collection of revenues, labor productivity, and materials purchasing. Developed a culture of fairness and integrity that increased employee retention (reducing costs). Assumed the President position in 2000. Conducted operations, financial planning, trade shows, product development, branding, packaging, HR, and logisitcal aspects of the company that averaged 11 employees. Maintained a profitable operation by developing a diverse customer base in 40 states. Sold Natural Selections Inc to a competitor. in 2004

Wright Flight Inc is a Tucson Arizona based charity organization inspiring children to learn math and science. The core educational program uses America's rich aviation hisotry to inspire and motivate kids. Successful children completing the academic program are rewarded with a flight in an aircraft where they can experience the thrill of aviation first hand. Madera Design and Traders, Inc was started in Tucson Arizona to be a retail furniture store. The concept of colonial and western style furniture manufactured in recycled woods was very successful. Within two years the retail location was moved to a larger warehouse style space that also accomodated a wood shop and additional employees. The company grew to include retail, wholesale, and design consulting. 45 local artisits also consigned locally produced art work to sale at Madera Design. As President and co-owner I was responsible for hiring, accounting, marketing, shipping, and external relationships. My co-owner was responsible for sales and design consulting.

Pilot flying the A/OA-10 completed 40 combat missions during Gulf War I. Duties at the base involved training, and development of A-10 flying course syllabus. Completed Instructional Systems Development course and implented concepts across the program. Developed a successful graduate evaluation program which improved the A-10 training.
