Additionally, I ran as an Independent candidate, was a political outsider, and was outspent 10-1. Our campaign’s great showing was credited to our bold and transformative proposals, along with my track record of having redeveloped our downtown economic corridor. Our campaign helped to propel changes within our City government even before the elections were held.
