Responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of the Metrology department, Manage metrology personnel, review and approve metrology documentation, maintaining metrology standards, performing calibrations of process equipment, trouble shooting and repairing equipment as needed and completing work orders.

Responsible for calibrating, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and devices used in sterile and non-sterile areas, such as Anderson and Rosemont pressure and temperature transmitters, Rosemont flow transmitters, Thornton conductivity meters, Watlow controllers. Various types of incubators including Lab-line and Nuaire, autoclaves, Lancer glass washers, motor drives for pumps and agitators, WFI and USP water systems, clean steam generators and auxiliary equipment in accordance with SOP and cGMP standards. Installation of new equipment including Sensaphone alarm systems, Honeywell and Yokagawa chart recorders and Power Logic monitoring equipment for power distribution system. Perform major upgrades to existing equipment such as Bioreactors and transfer panels, which included the installation of new devices and the rewiring of skids and cabinet.

Responsible for calibrating and maintaining equipment and devices used in sterile and non-sterile areas, such as transmitters, microprocessor-based controllers, incubators, autoclaves, WFI and USP water systems, pure steam generators and auxiliary equipment in accordance with SOP and cGMP standards.

Responsible for maintaining the operation of a fully automated steel mill while minimizing down time, writing procedures for preventive maintenance of steel mill equipment, troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Improvising temporary repairs, call and assist appropriate vendors when needed. Equipment includes AC and DC machinery controls, 480 volt three phase and 250 volt DC, AC and DC variable speed drives, hydraulic and pneumatic controls, G.E. operating system (UNIX based), x-ray equipment and furnace controls. Responsibilities also include enforcing lockout procedures and maintaining a safe environment.
