Ted Olson is a Managing Director – Technology Coverage Banker at BNP Paribas. Ted brings over 15 years of experience and knowledge in corporate banking, capital markets, derivatives, foreign exchange and cash management to the role. He works closely with companies in the technology sector, advising his clients on the optimization of their capital structure.Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Ted was a Senior Banker on MUFG's U.S. Wholesale Banking team focused on covering mid-large cap technology companies. As the first person hired when the technology vertical was established in 2012, Ted was not only responsible for building out the team, but also earned the MUFG Top Producer Award twice during his 7 years at MUFG. Before being recruited by MUFG, Ted held several roles in major banking institutions, including HSBC, Citigroup, and Deutsche Bank.Ted holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University, Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.Ted lives in the Bay Area with his wife and three children
