• Conducted research, compiling/analyzing batting averages from all MLB teams (1945 to 2015).• Concluded that the Cubs’ lack of night games led to the lowest batting average during night games over the specified range, and as they played more night games the disparity between day/night averages was reduced.• The resulting 2015 season demonstrated this fact as the Cubs’ won the most night games in the franchise history.
