Around 7 years ago I worked for a company in Louisiana servicing commercial and residential roofs. I have experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a large variety of roof systems. I am experienced in single ply (Duro-Last, and BondCote), EPDM, granular modified bitumen (non-flame adhesive method/cold process), green roofs (living roofs), standing seam metal (M-Panel, R-Panel), metal trim fabrication for any application (copper, and soldering), gravel, Spanish tile, and shingle (architectural, 3 tab, and aluminum panel shingles).I have experience with application and proper storage of a variety of roof coats; such as, easy to clean water-based, durable oil-based, eco and energy saving Permacoat. Also, expert maintenance knowledge of equipment used for coat applications. Experienced with compatible coats based on rooftop systems. I have experience with roofing after a natural disaster. Compassion and speedy quality service were my way of doing what I could for community during these times. I have trained with Bluefin (formerly Roof Express) which utilizes GPS and handheld device technology. I have a variety of certifications; such as, OSHA- 30 Construction Safety and Health, C-RRU combo (ground rigger), CPR/AED, and several climbing (Cell Tower) certifications. I am very safety oriented. Some previous experience was when I would travel all over the United States training employees (up to 12 at a time) from several companies. The class I taught was on safe climbing and rescue techniques. After several exams, and completion of the course, I would certify the tower climber attendee. This certification was required prior to any climber being on a job site. I very much enjoyed training and passing on my knowledge to my fellow co-workers and tradesmen.
