Ted is the Managing Director of DistributionNOW (NYSE: DNOW), responsible for the General Management of sales and operations in Greater China. Ted is an expert in Strategy vision, Sales and Commercial, Operations, and New Ventures and M&A in the Energy sector. Ted works with NOC’s, IOC’s, Service Companies, Fabricators and Manufacturers to map the value proposition between Western and Eastern in the energy industry, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Offshore, Wind and Renewable, and Power. Ted has set up NOV Distribution entity from scratch and expand the market share in the China region. Ted was on the core team to integrate the Wilson Supply through the M&A from Schlumberger, and drove the spin-off to establish the DistributionNOW entity in China. Ted has extensive industry expertise and thorough understanding in the energy industry. Project experience spans across all regions including Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and North America.Ted holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from Shanghai International Studies University, an Acceleration Executive Diploma in Purdue University, and a MBA in Finance and Strategy from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.
