With over six years of experience as a principal and co-founder of Synergy Public Affairs, I provide strategic advice and advocacy to private, public, and non-profit clients on a range of policy and political issues. My areas of expertise include regional transportation, infrastructure development, housing, clean energy, and smart cities. I leverage my skills in public affairs, strategic communications, coalition building, and political fundraising to achieve impactful outcomes for my clients and the communities they serve.Also, I proudly served as the mayor and city councilmember of Piedmont, California, for eight and a half years. In this role, I was responsible for hiring and overseeing the city manager and department heads, setting the agenda for the city council, and legislating on important issues, such as housing, environmental stewardship, public safety, transportation, and our municipal budget. I am also an alumna and active supporter of Emerge California, a political and government training organization that promotes Democratic women in all levels of appointed and elected office.
