I worked within a team of Medill IMC grad students on a semester long project at AutoZone corporate HQ in Memphis.My individual contributions included:‣ I used Omniture Data Warehouse to pull out live granular level traffic data, Alteryx to integrate 4 data sources including Oracle Phoenix, FTP server, Omniture and local excel files into 1.2 million transactions records file and Tableau to roll up the files into higher level, then design and develop an automated reporting system incorporating several data feeds.‣ I used Tableau to build dynamic dashboards for the C-Suite, facilitating better insights, and enabling organizational agility. I added in Calendar system to highlight the days with significant increase (or decrease) and the Revenue lines to visualize how off the actual sales is to projected sales. I also used Alteryx to harness the hexagon map shape of Autozone Region to visualize sales in different region, ‣ This helped AutoZone move beyond Excel-based static tables to dynamic live reporting.‣ My reports enabled insights on several dimensions: geographic (store > region > national), time period (day > week > year), planning (YTD, YOY, vs. plan) and other metrics.

I interned for Tencent, one of the world's largest e-commerce companies.‣ I maintained the hardware of the customer service department in Fiyta, including employees’ hardware and switchboard maintenance.‣ I upgraded the software for customer service staffs.

‣ I revised and built CMB’s information system process. ‣ I assisted in backend search and employee information management using SQL.‣ I designed and built the access control card application process for interns, built the process frame and diagram, designed the application form, and screened the applications on the backend by JAVA script.
