About Ted Miller
20+ years of solving complex (Q2C) usage and rating issues have allowed me to help 100's of customers to build better products and offerings. Moving from on-prem to the cloud seemed to be an obvious path and I sold my first cloud based mediation solution in 2016. I have since evangelized internally to get everyone on board with change. Since 2017 I have helped product management build better products that are built for the cloud. Having years of experience with rating and mediation has allowed me to quickly become one of the leading sales engineering at DigitalRoute. I have been ranked at the top of the SEs in sales of cloud products for the last 7 years. Knowing that our product is a niche offering I have built an impressive list of ISV billing partners (Aria, SalesForce, Zuora, GoTransverse) and SIs that are excited to work with us to build solutions. I enjoy building relationships within the partners and have a large network of that call on me when the have a usage question or need a solution. Before coming to DigitalRoute I sold very complex telecommunication billing solutions. These solutions consisted of many internal products along with partner products. I have a very good understand of the "big picture" for these types of solutions and would articulate over many days the value of each component to enable the sale.Leadership and mentoring are my passions. I think it is important to share and help build skill sets with those around you. I have mentored many SE, AEs and interns and I enjoy watching their growth both technically and with increased business acumen.I also enjoy being a global leader and working within many different cultures and skillsets. Those that are on my team know that I will challenge them to do their best and will celebrate their achievements. I often get requests from outside my group to join us because of the positive influence I provide.
