Played a major role in the research, design and development of several application products such as ZeeZor’s proprietary ETL, mobile and desktop BI reporting tool and a cloud based retail POS solution. Strong emphasis on .Net, SQL Server and JavaScript programming.User Interface Development:Delivered WPF kiosk application using MVVM design patterns. Also designed and developed product's web based portal management system using ExtJS/HTML5 with MVC design patterns. Leveraged the power of Sencha/ExtJS for mobile and desktop BI reporting and data visualizations..Net Development:Leveraged the power of WCF web services using CORS (Cross Origin Resource Sharing), SQL Server and Entity Frameworks to provide near-real time product and inventory updates and hardware monitoring. Designed and built lightweight ETL background service application capable of running on nearly any Windows based POS system accessing various databases. This application was quickly adopted as ZeeZor's primary method for the extraction and centralization of above-store POS data and has been distributed across the country in hundreds of locations.Database Development:Collaborated and contributed to the migration process from MySQL to SQL Server 2008 R2. This transition was essential to the performance, reliability and expandability of ZeeZor. In addition to the migration process, Ted was also the initial developer to roll out stored procedures, pivots and bulk inserts, the key ingredients to ZeeZor's primary mobile and desktop solutions.

Starting as a graphics layout designer for an Atlanta based printing firm, Ted Godwin first discovered his appreciation for computers while working with various software packages including Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Flash. Soon after he applied his skills to streamlining business operations, revamping Printing Today's accounting system and building a web based design/ordering system for various print products including business cards, letterhead and envelopes. These efforts enabled Printing Today to grow, become recognized and eventually acquired.

Ted Godwin expanded his passion for interface design and refined his software development skills with the help of Hornsby Brand Design, a leading design firm based in Knoxville Tennessee. This opportunity provided insight into how page layout, user interactivity and the need for a discerning eye plays an important part in building a successful branding campaign. Responsibilities included developing of forward facing sites as well as back end administrative portals using Adobe Flash and Adobe Flex.
