Through consolidations reduced overall FTEs while raising service levels.• Conceived, proposed, and saw through to success a unified IT service desk for Michigan Medicine, providing a user-centered “one number to call” for assistance.• Closed data centers and integrated applications and infrastructure services into primary campus data centers and cloud platforms, achieving several hundred thousand dollars in annual savings.• Negotiated the Box cloud storage contract on behalf of U.S. higher education as part of a small, inter-university team representing Internet2 Net+, resulting in unlimited storage at a fixed cost.
