I am a journey-oriented individual who has had the pleasure of stewarding many roles. Growing up in a small rural community, I worked for local farmers, mowed neighborhood lawns, and provided janitorial services for the school district. I discovered a passion for technology in high school which led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems. Throughout college and into my early professional career, I provided IT help desk support. This support slowly shifted toward assisting a group of researchers with their technology, data, and analytical needs. Exposure to mixed-methods research led me to wanting to both quantitatively and qualitatively understand more about various users’ experiences via product design.A love for learning and discovery drives me to understand situations and challenges while seeking out opportunities to better design products and services around customers’ continually changing needs. One of the most important skills that I’ve developed throughout my career is an ability to adapt to change. Life throws a lot of curve balls, and each of us makes our own share of miscalculations. My experiences have taught me to reflect and learn from the mishaps both individually and collectively, but to try not to dwell on them. Instead set a new destination and establish a plan to get there together. Outside of work, you will generally find me hunting for new places to hike, mountain bike, or kayak. Please do shoot me a message about your favorite travel spot(s), either local or global. Or better yet, suggest a time and place for me to join you on an adventure.Gallup CliftonStrengths: Learner | Relator | Maximizer | Strategic | Achiever | ActivatorThe Predictive Index: Adapter
