In 2003, I focused my career on understanding the implementation of and providing for P25 First Responder and Public Safety communications systems, specifically in LMR and LTE technologies. I have a huge respect for our First Responders and I truly feel that they are the real superheroes. I have also owned and have a first-hand knowledge and respect for the tower workers and the “field”. I also understand what it means to be a business owner and the various skillsets needed to build, maintain, and grow a business. I believe that a company and corporation is defined by their people even more than their products. My personal mantra is that you “live and die in the field”. I also believe that a leader needs to have an intimate relationship with the work that needs to be performed. This is critical to the success of the team, project, and ultimately the company involved.In 2015, I had the fortunate opportunity to work for one of my customers, Motorola Solutions, Inc., directly as the lead project manager for the Phoenix market. At present, my main responsibility is directing the Systems Integration (SI) projects for Motorola Solutions as contracts are established and executed with two major customers: the RWC and the TRWC. The RWC (Regional Wireless Cooperative) is a large, public safety radio network that covers the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. The system provides over 11,000 square miles of seamless, wide area coverage across the entire region and beyond. The TRWC (Topaz Regional Wireless Cooperative) is a large, public safety radio network that covers the Mesa and east valley in central Arizona.
