I have more than 15 years experience as a Global Compliance Director for major asset management companies. My experience spans the globe, having supervised compliance teams in more than fifteen countries. I have been the Fund CCO for several US mutual fund boards, and have managed specialized Compliance teams, including financial crime, GIPS, and risk and analytics. I have managed internal audit teams covering a range of financial services, including asset management, financial advisory, private banking, and investments. I have been a public finance banker at two firms, including providing letters of credit, bank loans, and bond issuance. I learned how to identify risk, improve controls, and operate efficiently as a management consultant, primarily with government clients. I have a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. I am the executive sponsor of the LM NY Toastmasters chapter. Previously I chaired the Legg Mason Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Council. While I was chair, Legg Mason developed its first employee resource groups, operated a mentoring program, and held LM’s first Diversity Day in multiple locations to demonstrate that LM senior management was squarely behind our diversity and inclusion activities.
