Water Infrastructure team.Responsibilities:• Working on primarily front-end engineering design (FEED) studies, detailed design, andmiscellaneous scopes collaborating with multi-discipline teams across the business.• Hydraulic modelling and transient analysis of water systems. • Development of P&IDs, site layouts and general arrangements.• Assisting in project costing through material take-off lists and liaising with vendors.• Writing feasibility study reports and pump operation philosophies. • Cost tracking and monitoring of earned budget across projects.• Writing specifications for non-process infrastructure piping.• Facilitating workshops with principal-level engineers from both Worley Consultingand the client to gain a mutual understanding of project/specification requirements.

My time at the PTA focused heavily on project management and engineering assurance. On a week to week basis, my role included; assisting on-site walks to identify non-conformities; identifying engineering solutions to design and construction challenges; creating project management tools utilising excel VBA; and liaising with several project engineers.

In this role, I worked with a wastewater consulting company. Utilising the technical skills I learned through university I provided assistance to senior engineers through flowrate calculations and pump selection for several projects. Tender documentation was also prepared for small projects.
