Senior Research Consultant
CurrentAs a Senior Research Consultant, I manage and lead research projects that address social issues, develop and implement research methodologies, and collaborate across departments to deliver the best results possible. I am responsible for designing, managing, and delivering research projects effectively, while also fostering the growth of junior team members and contributing to business development initiatives.In my role, I focus on:- Project Management: Managing both qualitative and quantitative research projects in areas such as road safety, domestic violence, sexual consent, youth unemployment, and education. - Workforce Resourcing & Mentorship: Managing resource allocation to ensure equitable distribution of workload, and mentoring junior staff to build their skills in research methodologies, statistical software (SPSS, Q, Excel), and time management. - Collaboration & Team Management: Coordinating teams that include consultants, data analysts, fieldwork providers, and graphic designers. - Research Methodology Development: Innovating and refining research methodologies to improve data quality and relevance. - Client Engagement & Business Development: Building relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expand Wallis' capabilities- Reporting & Insights Delivery: Writing clear, narrative-driven research reports that not only meet client objectives but also uncover latent findings that can drive further improvements and inform decision-making.
