Currently I'm working as a Senior Software Developer at a medium sized company located in central Zürich, Switzerland. The most recent technologies I have worked with are Java EE/SE, Spring/Spring Boot, Oracle Databases. I also have a wide knowledge of other development technologies, and a passion for programming. I'm a pragmatic developer and a fan of design patterns and tools which bring efficiency to development, such as Clean Code, DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) principle and the IntelliJ IDE. I enjoy the diversity I have seen so far in my working experience, and I see myself keeping this diversity in the future. It is important to me that along with the business critical work there is opportunity for professional development. A bit about myself, I'm in my 40s, currently residing just outside Zürich, Switzerland. I was born and raised in southern Sweden, but have been living in Switzerland for the last 10+ years. My current working language is German, which means I have no problems having technical discussions in German. I am, however, more fluent in English. As a person I'm outgoing and always looking for a new challenge. To all recruiters: So far the vast majority of offers have been so generic and uninteresting that I don't even bother replying. If something is truly unique and exciting I will get back to you, but know that your efforts with mediocre positions and offers will not get an answer.
