BUT I also believe my intuition about people in my personal life and that focus on building relationships bleeds over into work situations. As a trainer, I have to be able to read people very quickly and adapt my approach based on how they communicate and how they learn. For me, figuring this out is the “work” part of training; the rest feels like fun because I love the Audi brand and what they stand for. Their slogan is “Vorsprung Durch Technik,” which means advancement through technology. The entire company is incredibly innovative and strives for perfection. The founder, August Horch, lived by the philosophy: “if it can be made by man it can be made better by man.” I see this progressiveness in not only our vehicles but also in the company. It’s something I really admire because I am always on the lookout for ways to improve. I think just about everything can be improved on…even people. One of the reasons I like training so much is because I love helping people learn the skills they need to be successful, to move to the next level in their careers, or just to make their workday easier.
