Licensed private investigator in the State of Texas since 1992 and currently the Manager with DPS for Swailes & Company, Inc. Since 1998 have been focused on computer forensics or digital forensics involving all manner of electronic evidence to include computers, smartphones, servers, backups, cloud storage, anything containing digital evidence. These investigations are commonly performed for law firms or corporations and oftentimes involve some form of employee malfeasance; intellectual property theft, evidence of kickbacks, accounting fraud, and non compete enforcement. Services performed include initial assessment, forensic imaging, investigating, interviewing suspects, reporting, expert witness testimony, recommendations and policy/procedure implementation. In addition and related, can perform technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) examinations for eavesdropping devices (sweeps and "bug checks") as well as provide practical advice with regards to securing confidential information. A blend of the two aforementioned areas has evolved called "digital sweeps" - reviewing computers & smartphones for clandestine programs such as keystroke logging, screen capture software and data harvesting utilities used by either rogue employees or others. All of these investigative means or tools, despite oftentimes being complicated in nature come from an investigative perspective given my experience and training. Being practical and not too technical is what I strive to achieve.Specialties: Digital Forensics, Computer Forensics and Forensic Analysis (Win, , Linux, etc.)Digital Sweeps and TSCM or Technical Surveillance Counter MeasuresIntellectual Property Theft InvestigationsCorporate InvestigationsEmployee Misconduct InvestigationsNon-Compete EnforcementGeneral Investigations including Technical InvestigationsNetwork Intrusions
