Ted M. Traut is a Shareholder who focuses his practice on insurance subrogation and consumer collections matters. Mr. Traut is a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, where he was conferred the Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP)® Designation – the specialized designation for subrogation professionals. He also serves on the association’s Ohio Chapter and Education committees, and has presented at the annual conference, and is frequent speaker at local meetings and webinars. Mr. Traut is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association Insurance Law Committee, and has been recognized on the list of Ohio Rising Stars by Ohio Super Lawyers. Mr. Traut currently serves as the Office Managing Attorney (OMA) for Weltman's Cleveland office. In the OMA role, Ted is responsible for spearheading the employee engagement committee and other office-specific initiatives that help shape the culture of the firm. He is also the Chair of the firm's Subrogation Practice Group. Mr. Traut earned his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and his B.S. in Advertising from Kent State University.
