About Theodore Vaida

Wide cross-section of electrical and electronic systems engineering from multi-million gate ASIC design and synthesis, to consumer computer workstations, to telecommunications and network design and implementation. Emphasis on QA and troubleshooting of complex hardware/software systems. I am interested in continuing to work at the boundary between hardware and software.Specialties: Design and architechture of embedded components and telecommunications networking components, particularly IP networking, Iridium and OrbComm satellite modems. Cell based ASIC design and layout. UNIX/Linux systems administration. Microcomputer architechture including MIPS, ARM and x86. Assembly, C, C++ and Verilog HDL development. Daemon and GUI application development with Java, Perl and other software programming languages.
