Determined the maximum efficiency of a vertical axis wind turbine at low and turbulent wind speeds in the built environment, by means of using the benefits of aerodynamic drag and lift and urban conditions.- Designed, constructed and tested a silent, sustainable, highly efficient vertical axis wind turbine for the built environment.

- Performed research in the area of wafer contamination; predetermined where defects on wafers come from, subsequently knowledge was acquired about ellipsometry and the working principle of immersion lithography machines and the total wafer to chip development process.
