Previously supporting our research engineers for several years on Unix workstations with links to a shared supercomputing center, I supported our first connection to the Internet via a University. As the Internet developed I used my experience to build Air Products' first Intranet server, our first Internet server, negotiated our first Internet Service Provider (ISP) connection, and literally brought AirProducts.com online during a blizzard in 1995. As the Internet commercialized, this experienced helped me contribute to the start-up of our Ebusiness program.
