I’m now a licensed yacht broker in the State of Florida with Chamberlain Yachts. The owner, Kent Chamberlain has been in the business for over forty years. In addition to owning Chamberlain Yachts, he is the Chairman of the Superyacht Network, an organization of top international large-yacht brokers. Kent primarily focuses on yachts over one hundred feet and has been involved in the sale of some of the largest new and brokerage boats in the world. Kent and I have developed a fractional yacht sales program called FractionalYachts.co, which we will be launching soon.

In 1998, I launched chicago-scene.com, one of the first social networking, events, and entertainment sites in the country. This site is widely considered to be Facebook’s predecessor in the Chicago area. In 2000, I expanded Chicago-scene.com with the launch of two of the best-known “Bucket List” events in Chicago:• The Chicago Scene New Years’ Eve Party at the Drake Hotel (over 3,000 annual attendees and $500,000 in annual ticket sales; rated “One of the best NYE parties in the U.S.” by “Good Morning America”) • The Chicago Scene Boat Party (over 600 private boats and 10,000 annual attendees; largest boat party on Lake Michigan).Chicago scene events cater to young professionals, as we feature some of the most sought after DJs, extravagant venues, and the highest quality refreshments. We contract with venues, sponsors, and advertisers to ensure the ongoing success of each event.Chicago Scene has also produced: The River North Craft Beer Pub Crawl, The Highwood Craft Beer Festival, The Grove Craft Beer Festival, and The Woodlands Craft Beer & Music Festival.In 2001, I launched "Chicago Scene" print magazine, which quickly became the number-one nightlife and entertainment guide for young professionals in Chicago. Cannabistry Labs provides outsourced product development, scientific research, regulatory compliance, manufacturing process engineering, quality assurance programs, branding, and market activation to state-licensed cannabis growers and producers.In my role as Brand Manager with Cannabistry Labs, I: • Developed product launch plan and timeline for three cannabis products launched in Colorado: Root of it All Oils and Ointment (rootusa.com) and Mistisfi CO2 Extracted Vape Pen (Mistifi.com). • Responsible for website development, marketing strategies, PR campaigns, premium product branding, launch and event planning, and displays and signage development. • Produced sales materials as well as price sheets and product information documents. • Created “One Call Close” training program, a comprehensive introduction to effective sales training and closing techniques. • Visited many indoor and outdoor grow operations and over fifty cannabis dispensaries throughout CO, CA, OR, and WA. Traveled regularly through these states and frequently participated in industry trade shows and networking events.

I led a team of web developers and graphic designers to produce some of the earliest business websites in Chicago. I was one of the first people developing websites, so I was able to get great domain names for my clients. These sites included: carlease.com, ticketbroker.com, stockbroker.com, jameson.com (for the Chicago real estate company), as well as many other great websites. During my tenure at Unlocked, I also produced "The Internet Diner," a video providing basic web surfing instructions to a diverse audience.
