ACTION: While resolving the case with the authorities, I assessed security failures and added safeguards with technology teams to prevent future attacks.RESULTS: The agency’s cyber-threat resiliency increased and significantly limited liability exposure.► POLICY & SAFETY PROTOCOL IMPLEMENTATIONCHALLENGE: The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic threatened disruptions in operations.ACTION: Using professional networks, I created a custom COVID-19 response policy within a week of the outbreak and procured necessary equipment while innovating service execution to comply with new restrictions.RESULT: The Department continued operating safely without major service disruptions.💼 CONCURRENT ROLES 💼► CHIEF COORDINATOR – REGION’S ACTIVE THREAT PARTNERSHIP ► CHIEF COORDINATOR – RAPID DEPLOYMENT TASK FORCE, managing and coordinating response efforts for critical threats and events.

While charged with managing and supporting personnel in executing daily public affairs, I focused on orchestrating key internal functions to sustain efficient and compliant agency operations.Among others, I steered resource strategy development to ensure optimum utilization of funds, personnel, supplies, and equipment; and monitored adherence of team members to established procedures and regulations, as well as behavioral standards.In the Chief’s absence, I supervised overall departmental operations.⭐ NOTABLE IMPACTS ⭐► OPERATIONS TRANSPARENCY – CAPITAL PROCUREMENTCHALLENGE: Lack of transparency on operational matters eroded public trust.ACTION: I championed agency-wide deployment of body-worn and in-car camera program – acquiring 60+ recording equipment, promulgating program policy, and training all personnel on utilization.RESULT: Civilian complaints reduced significantly and elevated the public’s confidence in the agency.► SECURITY OPERATIONS EFFICIENCYCHALLENGE: The dispatch service was costly to maintain, but a critically needed function.ACTION: Exploring cost-saving options, I negotiated a shared service agreement with the County Sheriff’s Office wherein dispatch services would be outsourced to them for a fee.RESULT: The department saved up to $200K annually; and we received a new records management system linking our database with 20 other agencies, increasing officer safety and information accessibility for investigations.

I orchestrated inter-agency partnerships for joint investigations of criminal cases spanning multiple jurisdictions.
