Owned and operated a chain of large family entertainment centers.

Hands-on President and CEO of a multi-unit family entertainment center company,Recruited, hired, fired and supervised a staff of 25 full and 125 part-time employees, Oversaw the expansion from a single-unit to a multi-unit interstate operation. Conducted demographic research into the best location in which to locate new unit. This new unit shattered all previous volume records, consistently attracting the largest crowds every recorded in New England for a facility in that industry. Skills: Conflict resolution, training, supervising, negotiating, regulatory compliance, hiring, firing, staffing, ordering, financial controls. Personally designed the new unit, which was hailed in that industry's trade magazine as a fresh new design. Acted as my own General Contractor. Negotiated with, and supervised the sub-contractors utilized in the construction of the new, 41,600 square foot unit. Assumed hands-on responsibility for all operational, staffing, supervisory and regulatory facets of the operation. Served 6 terms as Chairman of the Northeast Regional trade association in that industry. Conducted seminars and provided consultative services to the family entertainment center industry in the areas of Customer Service, Satisfaction and Retention, throughout the USA.
