Tamaira Sandifer, affectionately known as “Miss Tee,” is a dedicated advocate with over 30 years of experience in dance and youth empowerment. In 2005, she founded the non-profit 3 Point - Studio T Arts & Entertainment, using dance as a powerful tool to connect with diverse youth.Driven by a commitment to uplift communities facing poverty and a lack of opportunity, Miss Tee provides essential financial education, life skills training, and entrepreneurship programs. She has also established a Sacramento-based Social Media Production Studio, supporting local businesses and mentoring young entrepreneurs, especially during the challenging times brought on by the pandemic.One of her notable contributions is the development and growth of PassToClass.com. Since the pandemic's onset, the platform has added over 60 hours of video content across 40 different lessons, reaching more than 192,000 students across the United States. Collaborating with educational and strategic partners, Miss Tee aims to enhance interactive functionality to better serve youth, educators, and parents. Additionally, she collaborates with professional teaching artists to create new content, focusing on wellness and improving entrepreneurial resiliency.Miss Tee's vision extends to California’s Day of Dance, a statewide celebration she founded. It not only promotes unity through creativity but also pays tribute to dance legends. Her influence in the arts education landscape is evident through her chair position on the American for the Arts-Arts education council and her board seat with California’s for the Arts.In recognition of her impactful work, Miss Tee was honored as a For(bes) The Culture 50 Champion by Forbes Magazine in 2021. Her tireless dedication to youth advocacy and philanthropy is further underscored by her 'Volunteer of the Year' Award in 2015 for her work with the juvenile Youth Detention Facility and the prestigious California’s Woman of the Year award in 2022.
