Digital Asset Manager | Photo Business Affairs
CurrentJob duties include: Managing the entire Photo Rights Management process from ingestion to final asset delivery, including taxonomy; archiving; metadata; description information; legal releases when applicable; copyrights; gathering of high-res images when needed; drafting and sending license requests to contributing photographers; keeping track of licensing/photo rights status; tracking where images are published; communicate license status to Marketing Ops/ Photo Edit team and notify of any issues; maintain usage fees, create purchase orders, and submit invoices for payment. Keyword assets, build upon keywords and taxonomy as the brand evolves to create easily accessible photo assets, documents and marketing materials. Ensure equitable language is continuously used throughout keywording and taxonomy design. Maintain strong relationships with contributing photographers, stock agencies and vendors.Continually work with internal and regional marketing teams to help develop digital asset tools, workflows for legal and efficient processes globally, as well as provide guidance on photo business affairs.Help manage and mitigate risks through logo, legal, ethical, visual, and SER checks on all images according to Patagonia’s standards, values and guidelines.
