I started to work in the civil society sector by working as a translator for international NGOS such as Pax, Catholic Relief Services and Un Ponte Per, and was engaged in a comprehensive series of programs and publications relating to violence prevention, social inclusion, youth empowerment, women’s inclusion and empowerment, reconciliation and healing, post-war recovery and peace consolidation. I also worked supporting the implementation of programs in several well-known Iraqi NGOs such as Sanad for Peacebuilding, the Iraqi Center for Negotiation Skills and Conflict Management and Peace Paradigms Organization. I hold MSc degree in Linguistics and Translation from the University of Mosul and I am looking to pursue a PhD in the field of peace studies.I am a linguist and Interpreter at two global translation Companies: Global Lingo and Abaque Group. I am a SWORN translator and have a translation ID from the Iraqi Association of Translators. I have worked as a Reporter and Proposal Writer in different projects.With achieving all of this, I was able to start my business when I established STS company.I am dedicated to serving the best interest of my community and doing all that is in my power to improve my country and the lives of its citizens. I thrive in interacting and building relationships with all types of stakeholders and constantly developing my skills to achieve my goals. Lastly, I am a creative person who enjoys resolving issues and overcoming challenges.
