The American Association of Event Professionals is the professional organization uniting the workers in the Experiential and Event Marketing Industry. Providing training, accountability, professional development and networking, the AAEP is legitimizing the workforce in XM.

I help traditional bricks and mortar retailers, online retailers, and retail (B-to-C) brands connect with communities through experiential, field, and digital marketing. I lead an award-winning strategic and tactical Experiential Marketing team that has erased "can’t" from our vocabulary and replaced it with "how." Our track record of success includes over 10,000 successful events, including over 500 celebrity and athlete appearances and millions of digital impressions. We have most recently earned a slot on the 2018 Event Marketer “It List” Top 100 Agencies. We could keep rolling through our own accolades but that goes against our DNA. Initially with the Homeland Security Training Center and later with the Justice & Safety Center of Eastern Kentucky University, I was the original instructor for "AWR-209 - Dealing with the Media," a short-course that teaches rural and secondary-market first responders and community leaders how to deal with the media during a crisis. I also taught longer two-day courses on an independent contract basis and offered consulting on crisis communication.

I founded Recycled Fish with fly fishing friend Matt Roberts and the help of Eric DeJong and team at law firm Perkins Coie in Seattle, Washington in 2003. Recycled Fish became my full-time career in November, 2007.

Fish Itch brings the social retail model to fishing, but does so with a purpose - to raise funds to help engage, educate and equip anglers to be stewards of our waters. Brands & Manufacturers have a cost-neutral way to market their product, get useful market feedback, and get product demo / product trial experience. Anglers get new and innovative products at deep discounts along with the satisfaction that a portion of the proceeds go to help our waters.

During my time with MME I did everything from Field Management on the Tia Rosa tour to driving and executing the Cingular Wireless Fan Express Tour, to later developing and managing large-scale national programs like 1-on-1 with 1 Million Consumers during NCAA March Madness for Cingular Wireless. I view the highlight of my time at MME as developing, managing and overseeing execution of the Dick's Sporting Goods Outdoor Adventure Road Tour in 2006 and 2007.
