As the founder of Furflr, I have led the company in organising large-scale, community-driven events focused on pets and hobbyists in Singapore. We specialise in creating unique experiences that cater to the growing community of pet owners and enthusiasts. Our events have become key fixtures in Singapore’s pet and hobby scene, drawing thousands of attendees and creating a platform for brands, pet lovers, and businesses to connect.Notable events include:1) Asia Cat Expo – A premier event celebrating all things feline, with over 23,000 attendees in the last edition.2) Singapore Cat Festival – A national gathering of cat owners and lovers to celebrate Singapore's love for cats.3) Singapore Dog Festival – A dynamic event featuring an Amazing Race-style challenge for dogs and their owners.4) Pet Pop Up – A pop-up market featuring pet-related products and services typically held in shopping centers and community centers.5) Purrsa Malam – A Malay themed night market-inspired event for cat owners.6) Hobbies Fair – A diverse fair that showcases hobbies ranging from pet care to collectibles and beyond.I have been instrumental in setting the direction and vision for Furflr, driving business development, vendor partnerships, and overall event growth.

As President of the Pet Enterprises & Traders Association Singapore (PETAS), I have been focused on revitalizing the association after a period of dormancy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to represent and protect the interests of pet businesses in Singapore, ensuring that our members' voices are heard in matters of policy and regulation.We actively engage with government bodies like the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) to advocate for fair regulations and support the growth of the pet industry. Currently, we are working on expanding our association’s reach by recruiting new members, strengthening our presence, and building a vibrant community of pet businesses across Singapore.

We founded Neko Neko with a vision to revolutionise the online pet store experience, focusing on creating a superior user experience and exceptional service that was missing in the market at the time. As the business grew, we identified a gap in the market for high-quality cat boarding facilities, leading to the launch of Nekoya, Singapore’s first holistic cat hotel dedicated solely to the comfort and well-being of cats while their owners are overseas.We further expanded into Nekomori, a specialised cat grooming salon catering exclusively to feline grooming needs, ensuring a calm and safe environment for all cats. Today, Neko Neko offers a wide range of services, including workshops and cat sitting, making it a one-stop solution for cat owners.Key responsibilities and milestones:- Spearheaded the business strategy and growth, overseeing the development and expansion of new ventures within the group.- Led product development for our online store, ensuring a seamless user experience for pet owners.- Managed business development for Nekoya, Nekomori, and our growing list of services including workshops and cat sitting.Through Neko Neko, I have been dedicated to enhancing the experience of both cats and their owners, creating a trusted brand in Singapore’s pet industry.
