Mr. Tee Lin Yik holds an honors Law degree from the University of London and a Master degree (First Class) in Intellectual Property from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). He is conferred by the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) as a qualified Registered Patent Agent, Registered Trade Mark Agent and Registered Industrial Design Agent.Prior to starting his own practice, he was serving the Malaysia Government at the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO), an agency under the purview of Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism (MDTCC). During his tenure in MyIPO, he was involved in various domestic and international intellectual property policy issues including Malaysia’s Free Trade Agreements negotiations on Intellectual Property Chapter at bilateral, regional and multilateral level.
