Key task being demonstration of a solution, testing beta solutions, verifying behavior in customer environments and conducting training for both Nokia experts (Sales Engineers, MSU personnel and MDU personnel) and customers (Channel partners, Advanced Training partners and Distributors). Beta program activities include identification of product development needs, bugs and integration capabilities in the server component, client component and supported devices to enable successful launch of the new solution.

Executed critical pilot installation of Nokia Business center for key operator customers that resulted in about 250 000 USD solution sales in one 3 months. Working on building solutions consisting of all ES mobile devices, EMS gateway products and 3rd party products. Started working in ES E-mail business group inside ES solutions unit. Successfully integrated IBM WEA/WECM, IBM Sametime everyplace, Research in motion Blackberry and Oracle Collaboration suite into Mobile office executive demonstration system as a project between Nokia Business Infrastructure and ES mobile devices end-to-end solutions group.

Senior Product Manager in NIC mobile network security team. Core member from NIC in the SECSTRA project. SECSTRA aimed to align security in all Nokia Business units. Created Nokia Internet Communications VPN transition guides for its customer when NIC decided to stop development of its own VPN product. This supported NIC customer when migrating from either remote access VPN as well as Wide Area network VPN to Nokia-CheckPoint VPN solution. Created global Nokia VPN remote access architecture. Created Mobile Office Executive Demonstration System architecture for show-casing all NIC products. Installed most of NIC products in this system so that sales and marketing people are able to demonstrate NIC solutions to customers.7.1 2002 – 31.12 2003 worked as expatriate in the Nokia Silicon valley office. Work included creating new revolutionary VPN design that was later patented and Teemu Lehtonen was one of the three inventors.
