Planners are responsible for overall financial and inventory direction of buying area with the goal of meeting/exceeding sales, margin and stock turn targets.Have a focus on the analytics, financial and inventory performance.Provide in-depth analysis of product performance and make recommendations to maximisebusiness opportunities.- Partner with Buyer to develop and execute buying area strategies.- Partner with Buyer in development of Conceptual Assortment Plans and reconcile assortmentplans against financial goals.- Partner with Buyer in identifying and negotiating with suppliers.- Partner with Buyer to manage business performance in-season to maximise salesopportunities for entire buying area.- Partner with Buyer to collaborate with Store Design and Visual Merchandising on space planning.- Develop merchandise financial/store plans.- Manage markdowns and product lifecycle, identify sales opportunities, plan in-season promotions.- Develop and execute financial/assortment analytics and reporting for buying area.- Develop replenishment budget.

- Support Planners in developing Merchandise Financial Plan, By-Door Plan.- Manage replenishment orders.- Monitor store stock levels by class and/or supplier, adjusting allocations for performance trendsand inventory levels to maximise sales, gross margin and stock turn; identify out-of-stocks.- Recommend re-orders based on sales, on-hand and support product exit strategies.- Track and trace orders.- Maintain purchase order logs- Communicate with stores and distribution centres regarding inventory and replenishmentquestion.

- Support the Buyer in buying area strategy development, assortment planning and buy planningprocess.- Support the Buyer in competitive analysis, customer research and trend identification.- Create and enter purchase orders into system.- Communicate with Marketing, Stores, suppliers and customers to provide product/orderinformation and problem solve.- Replenishment, re-orders, special requests, purchase order logs.
