UKK Terveyspalvelut Ltd creates tools and services for the ongoing digital revolution of health care in Finland. Our aim is to get measurement / interpretation of the Health-enhancing Physical Activity to be part of the national health care system.UKK Terveyspalvelut Ltd is a daughter company of the UKK Institute, the Centre for Health Promotion Research in Finland. The purpose of the UKK Institute is to promote public health. Through research, training and communication we support people in adopting healthy life styles. Our aim is to promote physical activity and to reduce the number of injuries occurring at home or leisure.

DIGITAL SERVICE DESIGN03/2012-12/2013 Traxmeet Ltd: CTO / Co-FounderTraxmeet is committed to making social sports and wellness services that motivate people to be active. My role as a CTO and Program Director was to design innovative digital services and products for the corporate wellness sector and live racing events. Also oversee the manufacturing and service development processes. The solutions combine mobile and web applications with GPS and acceleration sensing technologies.Over 200 companies use Traxmeet corporate wellness service (its my life™) in three countries: Sweden Finland and the Netherlands. These companies include ABN Amro, IBM Finland, Adidas Holland, Varma, Scania. By now its’ my life service has over 10 000 users.Traxmeet RaceLive is a live tracking solution for outdoor sport events. The live GPS tracking technology has been used in over 1000 races in Europe and US. Traxmeet´s references include Tour-de-France, Tour-de-Ski, Ski Classics, Orienteering World Championships and World cup, Helsinki City Marathon.

LARGE-SCALE DATA ACQUISITION & DIGITAL SERVICE 01/2010-12/2011 Hookie Technologies Ltd: CTO / founder09/2009-06/2010 Hookie Technologies Ltd: CEO / founderHookie Tech Ltd was a technology spinn-off that aimed to commercialize patents and innovations that was developed in the VTT (Technology Research Center of Finland). http://www.vttresearch.comMy role was to run the R&D processes, develop services around the IPR and oversee the manufacturing and guide the sub-contractors. Our main goal in Hookie was to create a service that would make children more physically active and thus less obese & overweight and decrease probability for diabetes 2. We aimed to do that with linking physical activity in the real world to rewards and benefits on the virtual world (games). We also developed a small human physical activity-tracking device with automated analysis software that has later sold over 5000 units. It has been used for the most important large-scale population studies in Finland done by UKK Institute with tens of thousands participants.Hookie activity-tracking device is in use for example in UKK institute, University of Oulu & Jyväskylä, VTT and Finnish Defense Forces.The activity meter business was sold to Traxmeet Ltd in early 2012.

The main areas of services were industrial design, software design, service design and business consulting. Fusion Ltd was later sold to Siili Solutions Ltd in 2012.
