I was creating better user experiences for health care, welfare and social services. My main responsibility areas were web, mobile and desktop UI/UX design & concepting. I was also responsible for developing and documenting UI style guidelines and a design system for other designers and developers to use. I also did some Java (& JavaFX) development on the side (strictly for UI concepting purposes only) and a few usability evaluations for other systems developed at CGI.

I was working on web front end of Testdroid Cloud service and marketing site www.testdroid.com. My main responsibility areas were UI design and usability. In the beginning I also participated in the SW development (CoffeeScript, JavaScript, Dust & LESS). I also participated heavily in the design of the whole new www.testdroid.com site.

I was leading a small Apple iOS app team where my main responsibility areas were UX design & usability. Other tasks: Designing application based web pages and writing the content. Contributing heavily to marketing material & software launches. Writing test specifications and testing. Help desk, project management & product management were also often part of the job. Some of the apps I designed or redesigned: Piikki, DocScanner Pro, DocScanner, PhotoRevival, Capture Fast, ScifiScanner, theme it, RSS it, Real World ASCII. Many of these have achieved top 10 positions in App Store charts around the world and got some great reviews.

Contributed to the sales materials and attended the preparation and client meetings. I also did some requirement specifications, prepared mobility use cases and helped to build various sales demos on Android platform (UI design & specifications). Studied Android platform development and participated to Symbian testing activities.

There weren't even UI designers back then so I was doing that too. The projects included desktop apps, web apps, mobile apps and even some very early hybrid apps (the same app can be used with a computer and a mobile device).
