Software Engineer==============• A lead developer of proprietary distributed data framework which synchronizes data across mobile devices and backend services written mainly in Obj-C. My work includes designing and implementing the core data structure, synchronization algorithm, and a presence lookup module for the cloud service. This is a core framework of Wavify’s large scale collaboration service.• Developed a WebSocket+REST backend service using nodejs and also an Obj-C client library for iOS application to interact with the service.• Introduced and encouraged some Scrum processes and XP practices to the team such as daily standup meeting, sprint and continuous integration which led to shorter development cycle, faster release and better code quality.• Helped control the release cycle and acted as a lead Git adviser to other team members.Platform Engineer==============• Designed and built a cloud storage appliance. => Researched, benchmarked and chose proper technology stack for the system. => Developed system core components to manage underlying hardware storage. => Developed command-line user interface which interacts with the core components. => Fine-tuned the appliance for optimal performance with custom-built kernel and proper configurations.• Developed unified remote firmware upgrade scripts for most appliances of the company.
