With over 9 years of senior executive experience in the mining, insurance, pension fund, and investment management industries, I am a seasoned board leader and business executive who challenges legacy thinking and drives transformation and value creation. As the current BOCRA Board Chairman, I oversee the regulatory authority's functions, ensure full participation and effective decision-making during meetings, and act as a link between the board and upper management. I also leverage my legal qualifications (LLB and LLM in Commercial Contracts and Insurance Law) and my executive education (Senior Executive Programme at Harvard Business School and Global Executive Development Programme at Gordon Institute of Business Science) to provide guidance and direction on matters of governance, compliance, risk, and strategy.My mission is to contribute to the development and growth of the sectors and organizations I work with, by applying my skills, knowledge, and experience in board leadership, strategic finance, value creation, transformation, and entrepreneurship.
