Project: 80 Charlotte Street - Mixed use development for Derwent London (value: £200 million)Role Overview: Accountable for legal and commercial management of Architectural services, Structural Steel and Pre Cast Concrete design and supply on a 10 storey commercial and residential building in central London. In this role I worked closely with the Design, Planning and Construction teams to ensure change management was communicated quickly, managed effectively and executed within the cost plan both downstream with the sub-contractors and upstream with the Client, where changes affect the Head Contract.- Managed Project Cost Reporting for packages on a monthly basis, including income and potential/foreseeable expenses and cashflow forecasts- Incorporated Client changes including tenant change during the construction phase- Negotiated programme changes with sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery of project, including extensions of time for deferment, prolongation and disruption (where required)- Management of upstream Requests for Change (RFC) where variations were the accountability of the Client, under the Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) Head Contract.

Role Overview: Accountable for contractors production, safety and cost on shutdown projects of 24 week duration (execution phase of 12 weeks plus pre and post work of 8 and 4 weeks respectively) and £7 million. Projects included Powerhouse Boilers, Alumina Calciners, and pressure vessels. Major work to be conducted included repairs and replacement of steel shell. I was accountable for managing scaffolding, non-destructive testing (NDT), condition monitoring (vibration analysis), Pressure Vessel and Tank Inspectors.- Created a highly motivated team by engaging each team member through an understanding of their importance to the entire project - Achieved duration and budget targets by working collaboratively with contractors- Selected high quality, low cost contractors through a tender process- Monitored project costs against budget- Implemented visual project tracking to demonstrate team performance against schedule- Assessed quality of work to ensure compliance with relevant standards- Developed safety management systems with contractors and verified their implementation

Role Overview: Strategic sourcing of materials and contractor services. Contract portfolio valued at £30 million per annum. Major contracts in portfolio included crane hire, general equipment hire, logistics (freight and personnel transport) and filter media (for chemical filtration process).- Evaluation of internal demand, undertaking supply market analysis and recommending sourcing strategies while working closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders- Developing local suppliers including the award of significant contracts- Strong negotiating skills resulting in sustainable hard savings of up to 31%- Supplier relationship management- Proven financial acumen including application of cost models to build sourcing options- Tender preparation and evaluation leading the project team to drive HSEC best practice and optimisation of goods and services procurement to meet business requirements- Identification and implementation of procurement initiatives including increased service levels and cost reduction- Defining contract objectives and facilitating contract review meetings to measure performance against KPIs
