Educating young people is my passion and my purpose. To inspire life-long learning is both a privilege and a responsibility - one I take seriously. In fact, it has always been my career’s goal to ensure students leave my classroom feeling that the world is a bigger place than when they first entered it. I am qualified and experienced in teaching English at all levels including Stage 4 and 5 support, core and extension classes, Stage 6 Studies, Standard, Advanced, Extension and Extension 2. I have taken on contract roles since returning to teaching after dedicating three years to raising my two young daughters. The experience of seeing the world through my children’s eyes has clarified for me the role of education in a young person’s life and for society as a whole. As such, I am most excited when in a school that aligns with my vision of what education can be: holistic, relevant, inspiring and one where each child’s own particular passions are encouraged and explored.
