At this store I work as a customer service assistant. It is my role to serve customers in a safe and friendly manner, and also ensure the shop floor is clean and tidy. Within the role I am enhancing upon my customer service skills and teamworking skills, ensure I work well with others to meet the goals and objectives of the business. Whilst working here I am also enhancing on my problem solving skills and working on my own initiative, answering any questions efficiently to ensure that the customer is satisfied with the service provided.

During my University studies I am completing 70 hours of work experience at the company CBS Screening. During my time I enhanced upon my time-keeping and organisation skills, and also learnt the skills needed to become a successful business manager. I also had first-hand experience on shadowing the owner of the company to learn the attributes it takes to run a successful company and motivate staff.

am currently employed at the fast-food chain McDonalds. Whilst working here I havelearnt and improved on a variety of skills. I have improved upon my interpersonal skills as Iwork with a variety of individuals with different personalities, and have also improved uponworking in a team, but also how to work on my own initiative. The job requirements includeproviding customers with a quick and accurate service, learning how to show sensitivity todifferent individuals needs and producing orders to a consistently high standard,understanding that quality control is vital. I have also improved on my health and safetyawareness within the workplace.I havre recently had a promotion in work and become a Crew Trainer. this gives me leadership skills as sometimes I must manage an area within the workplace and delegate any tasks. I must also train up new individuals within the workplace and teach them how to perform different areas within the store to an appropriate standard.

During the summer I worked in the nursery. Over the period of time that I worked there Ihad a numerous amount of duties. I would look after the children and interact with them;whether this was playing with them or reading to them. I cleaned up the food area and theplay area. On occasions I would help out with the preparation of food and help the childrengo off to sleep for their nap time. I supervised them when they played outside to ensurethey were safe.
