Tegan Schefe, a proud Bidjara and Kamilaroi woman, has a strong background in primary health care and is a recognised leader in suicide prevention. She co-developed the Sunshine Coast's First Nations Suicide Prevention Strategy and has held key roles in national programs like LivingWorks I-ASIST and Thirrili's National Indigenous Postvention Service.
